They said, "O Musa! Whether [that] you throw or Whether [that] we will be (we) the ones to throw?"
View 82 More Translations ↓They said: "O Moses! Either thou shalt throw [thy staff first], or we shall [be the first to] throw."
They said, 'Moses, wilt thou cast, or shall we be the casters?
They said: "O Moses! wilt thou throw (first), or shall we have the (first) throw?"
قَالُوا۟ يَـٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِمَّآ أَن تُلْقِىَ وَإِمَّآ أَن نَّكُونَ نَحْنُ ٱلْمُلْقِينَ ١١٥
qālū yāmūsā immā an tul'qiya wa-immā an nakūna naḥnu l-mul'qīn
